Project Sharabheswara Maha Jyotir Linga Temple

A Global Healing Sanctuary for Humanity

Project Overview

The Sharabheswara Maha Jyotir Linga Temple is a sacred initiative of Meppad Madom, envisioned as a global spiritual sanctuary dedicated to healing, protection, peace, and the welfare of all beings.

Rooted in the ancient Shaiva, Shakta, and Sri Vidya traditions of North Kerala, the temple seeks to preserve a rare Guru Parampara while serving humanity through worship, spiritual healing, education, and selfless service.

Lord Sri Sharabheswara, revered as the fierce yet compassionate manifestation of Kalaagni Rudra and the Divine Physician (Vaidyanatha), is worshipped at Meppad Madom as the divine consort of Sri Shoolini Bhadrakali. According to the Guru Parampara, His divine grace protects devotees from disease, suffering, untimely death, and negative influences while bestowing health, courage, peace, prosperity, and spiritual awakening.

Vision

To establish a world-class spiritual sanctuary dedicated to:

Healing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual suffering.

Offering prayers for relief from chronic, incurable, and life-threatening illnesses (Mahavyadhi).

Promoting global peace, harmony, and universal welfare.

Preserving and revitalizing the ancient Shaiva, Shakta, and Sri Vidya traditions.

Supporting research, education, and the transmission of India's spiritual knowledge to future generations.

Inspiring humanity to live in harmony with nature, spirituality, and universal consciousness.

The Sacred Consecration

At the heart of the temple will be the Sharabheswara Maha Jyotir Linga, consecrated according to the sacred traditions preserved by Meppad Madom.

The temple will serve as a living center for:

Daily worship and Vedic rituals.

Rakshabhisheka and special healing ceremonies.

Maha Rudra Yajnas, Homas, and sacred fire rituals.

Sri Vidya and Shakta spiritual practices.

Meditation, prayer, and spiritual guidance.

Pilgrimage for seekers of healing, protection, and inner transformation.

One of the temple's unique spiritual offerings will be the 96 Sacred Herbal Abhisheka, prepared using ninety-six medicinal herbs representing the Shaṇṇavati (96) Tattvas. This sacred ritual symbolizes the complete harmony of the human body, mind, life force, and the cosmos, reflecting the holistic philosophy of Sanatana Dharma.

Our Mission

This project is far more than the construction of a temple.

It is a sacred mission to preserve an ancient spiritual heritage, revive traditional wisdom, promote holistic healing, and establish a global center where people of every faith and culture may seek divine grace, hope, inner transformation, and lasting peace.

The temple will stand as a beacon of compassion, spiritual research, cultural preservation, and universal service for generations to come.

An Invitation to Participate

We warmly invite devotees, philanthropists, organizations, institutions, and well-wishers across the world to become part of this sacred mission.

Every contribution helps build not only a temple but also a living center dedicated to:

Universal healing.

Preservation of India's timeless spiritual heritage.

Spiritual education and research.

Prayer for global peace and human welfare.

Service to future generations.

Together, let us create a beacon of faith, compassion, healing, and universal well-being that will illuminate the world for centuries to come.

With Divine Blessings

May the blessings of Sri Sharabheswara, Sri Shoolini Bhadrakali, Sri Vadavalan Bhairava, Kalaagni Rudra, and the Divine Mother shower health, protection, wisdom, and peace upon all beings.

Empower the Future: Support the Mahalakshmi Dhanwantari Temple - Transforming Lives, Impacting Donors

Dear Esteemed Donors and Devotees,

Support the Consecration of the Sri Sharabheswara Maha Jyotir Mahalinga

An Eternal Offering for the Welfare of Humanity

The Agamas and Puranas extol the construction of a Shivalaya as one of the highest forms of Dharma, for it establishes a sacred abode where Lord Shiva is worshipped continuously for the benefit of humanity. A temple is not merely a structure of stone—it is a living source of divine grace, where daily worship, abhisheka, homa, mantra, and prayer continue for generations. According to the sacred tradition, those who help establish such a temple become participants in the spiritual merit of every act of worship performed there.

The Sri Sharabheswara Maha Jyotir Mahalinga is being consecrated as a unique sanctuary dedicated to healing, protection, spiritual transformation, and Lokakshema—the welfare of all beings.

According to the Guru Parampara of Meppad Madom, Sri Sharabheswara is worshipped together with His complete divine retinue. Sri Shoolini Durga, the Divine Mother of healing and sacred medicine, embodies the nourishing grace of the Moon, restoring life, health, and protection. Sri Pratyangira Devi, embodying the radiant power of the Sun, burns away evil, negativity, and harmful influences. Together they represent the complete cycle of healing and purification.

Also abiding within the divine form of Sri Sharabheswara are Sri Vadavala Bhairava, Sri Dhoomavati Mahavidya, Sri Vyadhikara Rudra, and Sri Mrityu Kala, symbolizing divine protection, the destruction of negativity, relief from suffering, courage in adversity, and protection from untimely death according to the lineage tradition.

Traditional Spiritual Blessings for Patrons and Donors

According to the Agamic temple tradition and the Guru Parampara of Meppad Madom, those who support this sacred consecration are believed to receive:

Akshaya Puṇya (enduring spiritual merit) through participation in establishing a Shivalaya.

A share in the merit of every daily Puja, Abhisheka, Homa, and prayer performed in the temple for generations.

The blessings of Sri Sharabheswara for protection, courage, peace, and spiritual upliftment.

The healing grace of Sri Shoolini Durga.

The fierce protection of Sri Pratyangira Devi against harmful influences.

The guardianship of Sri Vadavala Bhairava over family, home, and righteous endeavors.

The blessings of Sri Dhoomavati to overcome hardship and transform adversity into wisdom.

The grace of Sri Vyadhikara Rudra, traditionally invoked for relief from disease and suffering.

The blessings of Sri Mrityu Kala for protection from untimely death according to one's destiny.

Blessings for one's ancestors, family, descendants, and future generations.

The privilege of becoming a founding patron of a sacred temple dedicated to the welfare of humanity.

Every offering, whether large or small, becomes part of an eternal legacy. As long as the sacred lamp burns, the Vedic chants resound, and worship continues before the Sri Sharabheswara Maha Jyotir Mahalinga, it is traditionally believed that those who helped establish this temple continue to share in the spiritual merit of its worship.

We humbly invite you to become a Founding Patron of the Sri Sharabheswara Maha Jyotir Mahalinga Temple and join us in creating a timeless sanctuary of healing, protection, peace, and divine grace for generations to come.

We are humbled to share with you an extraordinary opportunity to make a profound impact on our community and beyond by supporting the construction of the Temple. This initiative is not only the need of the hour but also a life-altering endeavor for those who choose to contribute. Here's how your support will create a lasting impact:

With deepest gratitude,

SAY Foundation.
